Result: Tondela 1-2 SPORTING B

Sporting B bounced back with a dramatic win over a Tondela thanks to goals from Salim Cissé and Kikas.

Abel Ferreira several made changes to the team that last at home to Aves last weekend. Most notably starting with 18-year old Luka Stojanović as well as Ricardo Esgaio returning to the team from suspension.

Sporting B took the lead midway through the first half thanks to in-form Salim Cissé who scored his 3rd goal in 4 games.

Abel’s side managed to take their lead into half-time after a very even first half butTondela were the brighter side after the break and they found an equaliser in the 76th minute thanks to Brazilian forward Jô (not that one).

But Sporting B hit back straight away after good work from substitute Chaby and Kikas put them ahead once more.

Abel Ferreira brought on Hugo Sousa to replace Luka Stojanović to try and secure the lead to give him his Sporting B debut.

Sporting managed to hold on and pick up their first away of the season thus far and hopefully kick starting a good run of form.
