Sporting B picked up their third win in succession with a win away to Feirense. Wallyson Mallmann opened the scoring for Sporting before a Wilson Eduardo goal. Jorge Gonçalves pulled on back for the home side but ended the game with 10 men when Hélder Rodrigues was sent off at the end of the game.
Abel was able to bring Wilson Eduardo into the B team, with the player not featuring much for the first team since the signing of Héldon Ramos. Matías Pérez started in central defence alongside Rúben Semedo.
The first half started slowly with Sporting having the better of the chances. Ousmane Dramé and Filipe Chaby forcing good saves out of Marco Rocha.
After the break Filipe Chaby had the ball but the goal was disallowed by referee Ricardo Moreira – although the goal should have stood.
Sporting finally got their goal in the 52nd minute through Wallyson Mallmann. The Brazilian, who has been in good form lately, who finished after good play from Dramé down the left-hand side.
Abel Ferreira’s side doubled their lead 8 minutes later through Wilson Eduardo. The first-team winger finished well after being fed in by Iuri Medeiros.
Feirense made it a nervous finish when the grabbed a goal back through Jorge Gonçalves in the 77th minute. Soon after that Edelino Ié had a goal disallowed, although this time the decision was correct.
To make the ending smoother for Sporting B Hélder Rodrigues was given a straight red card after a bad tackle on Wilson Eduardo.
