Diogo Salomão is set to return on loan to Deportivo de La Coruña after having spent the last 2 seasons with the club.
Salomão was part of the failed Portuguese experiment taken up by the A Coruña team that lead to their relegation from La Liga last season. Despite the player being promoted with the club in 2011/2012 they were relegated the following season, in a team that included then-Sporting players André Santos and Evaldo (whilst being managed by former Sporting coach Domingos Paciência).
Diogo Salomão though has seemingly done enough to be welcomed back for a third stint at the club as they fight for promotion currently sitting at the top of the Segunda División.
Salomão has found it hard to get first team football outside of the B team due to Diego Capel, Wilson Eduardo, André Carrillo and the emergence of Carlos Mané.
