Zakaria Labyad has finally found a new club after having been frozen out of the team since the start of the season.
The Moroccan will join Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem on loan until the end of next the season. Sporting look to save around €4,500,000 in wages with the departure of the player. Though kind of wages being a remnant of the reign of Godinho Lopes.
Labyad has said he is “relieved to return to the Netherlands”. Vitesse are currently second in the Eredivisie this season and are level on points with first place Ajax.
