Sporting B’s excellent run of form continues with a hard fought victory away to Oliveirense.
In what was a very even start to the game at the Estádio Carlos Osório it was Sporting B who managed to get themselves in the lead just before the end of the first half thanks to Betinho.
A two goals inside of two minutes not long after the restart put Sporting B firmly in control. Firstly through Betinho once more and the second from in-form Iuri Medeiros.
The home side then began to get back into the game, firstly through midfielder Carela. Just 2 minutes after that an own goal by Nuno Reis put Oliveirense right back into the game.
After 67 minutes Salim Cissé was brought in place of Betinho, the Guinean striker making his return from injury.
Fortunately Sporting managed to hold on to move themselves up to 3rd in the Segunda Liga albeit having played 1 game more than 4th place Portimonense.
