This one seems to be more than just a transfer rumour, and should apparently be finalised shortly. According to the Record, Once Caldas forward Dayro Moreno is set to sign for the Leões shortly.
The Record quotes Once Caldas Vice-President, José Manuel López during a Radio interview:
“We will travel to Portugal on weekend and the aim is to conclude negotiations. There will be the player, his representative and the [representative of] Once Caldas. I think the deal will be concluded.”
Dayro Moreno’s current club, the Colombian side Once Caldas, were recently eliminated from the Copa Libertadores by hot favourites Santos. They pulled off a surprise though, by beating Cruzeiro on the way over two legs, Moreno managed to score against Os Celestes too. This would not be Dayro Moreno’s first time in Europe, he previously played for Steaua Bucureşti.
